Design Policy

Booking & Retainer Policy

A 50% retainer is required to secure your event date and begin the design and planning process. No date is considered booked until the retainer has been received. The remaining balance is due prior to event delivery or installation, unless otherwise approved in writing.

Payment Policy

We accept major credit cards, electronic payments, and approved digital platforms. Payment links are sent electronically for secure processing. Orders must be paid in full before delivery, pickup, or setup. Orders placed through the online shop require full payment at checkout.

Cancellation Policy

All retainers are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your event, notice must be given at least 72 hours before the scheduled date. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event may result in forfeiture of the full retainer amount to cover materials, labor, and preparation already completed. If a cancellation happens within 24 hours of the event, the full balance may still be due.

Delivery & Setup Policy

Delivery and installation fees are based on event location, time of delivery, venue access, and scope of décor. Fees will be included in your formal quote. Our team installs décor on site and ensures proper placement and stability before leaving the venue. Additional charges may apply for late-night, early-morning, or restricted-access deliveries.

Décor Removal Policy

Décor removal is not included in standard pricing. If teardown or post-event pickup is needed, it must be requested in advance and will be quoted separately. Same-day or next-day removal availability depends on schedule and venue requirements.

Balloon Lifespan & Care Policy

Balloon décor lifespan depends on temperature, indoor vs. outdoor placement, environment, and handling.

Helium-filled balloons last an average of 18 hours but can be extended with Hi-Float treatment.
Air-filled décor can last several days or weeks indoors under proper conditions.
Balloons placed outdoors are subject to heat, wind, sun, rain, and surface friction, and may not last as long as indoor décor.
We do not guarantee balloon life once we have completed installation.

Outdoor Décor Disclaimer

We cannot guarantee the performance or lifespan of outdoor balloon décor due to unpredictable weather conditions including heat, wind, rain, and humidity. Refunds, replacements, or repairs are not issued for weather-related damage. If outdoor décor is requested, clients assume full responsibility for environmental impact.

Environmental Responsibility Policy

We use high-quality latex balloons that are biodegradable, as well as foil balloons that can be recycled when handled properly. We encourage responsible disposal after your event and offer teardown services when requested. We do not support balloon releases.

Design Support & Consultation Policy

If you are unsure what décor you need, our designers will guide you through options based on your theme, space, and budget. Inspiration photos, color palettes, and event details help us recommend the best designs for your event. Design consultations are included once a booking request is submitted.

Refund Policy

Returns

All sales are final. We do not accept returns on:

Bags of balloons
Balloon designs/decor
Customer-provided balloons filled with helium

Refunds

All sales are final and non-refundable. If a refund has been approved in writing (e.g., for a defective product or special circumstance), please allow standard bank processing time for the credit to post.

Late or Missing Refunds (If Applicable)

If you were approved for a refund but haven’t received it yet:

Check your bank account again.
Contact your credit card company; it may take time before your refund is officially posted.
Contact your bank; processing times vary.

Exchanges (Defective or Damaged Items Only)

Balloon Care Note

Latex balloons should not be exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods or to high temperatures. Heat and sun can reduce balloon lifespan and are not considered defects.

Shipping Policy

Economy Shipping

We ship using major carriers including FedEx, UPS, and USPS. Economy shipping is available within the continental United States (48 states) and typically arrives within 7–10 business days. This option does not include a guaranteed delivery date. Transit time begins the day after the order ships.

Expedited Shipping

Expedited shipping is available within the U.S. and typically delivers in 3–5 business days, depending on the destination. This service does not guarantee a specific delivery date.

Ground Shipping

Ground delivery is usually 1–5 business days within the contiguous U.S. and 3–7 business days to Alaska and Hawaii. Transit time does not include the ship date.

Express Shipping

Express delivery options include Overnight and 2-Day service. Transit times apply to business days only. Express shipments are not delivered on weekends or holidays. Shipping costs are based on the size and weight of the order.

USPS Priority Mail

Priority Mail typically delivers within 1–4 business days within the contiguous United States. Delivery times to non-contiguous states and APO/FPO addresses may take longer. USPS does not guarantee delivery times for Priority Mail. Rates are based on current USPS shipping rates and package weight/dimensions.

Typographical Errors

If a product is listed at an incorrect price, Luckeyia Balloons & Distribution reserves the right to cancel any order placed for that product, whether or not payment has been processed. If payment has already been captured, a refund will be issued in the amount charged.
